.The closest airport is Charleston International Airport (CHS) which is a 40 minute drive from Kiawah Island. Uber is available at the airport. Transportation from Kiawah Island to the airport can also be arranged through the accommodations below.

CAR SERVICE

To ensure your stay is as smooth as possible, we suggest renting a car during your visit. All national rental chains are available at Charleston International Airport.

While Uber is available for airport arrivals, guests may encounter difficulty in securing a ride during departure. Don’t worry though, the concierge can help you prearrange a car service, which is the preferred and most convenient option if you're not renting a car. Just give them at least 24 hours’ notice before your departure and the car will be ready to go! The car service fee will show up on your hotel bill. Please note that there is no local taxi service and Lyft is not recommended due to a fee for entry onto the island.
